GROUP COOKING CLASSES FOR TEAMS IN PHILADELPHIA
We offer the best large-group cooking classes in Philadelphia. We guarantee you an outstanding team-building activity that’s both tasty, educational, and whole lot of fun ! Your team will collaborate to make a delicious entree that you will get to enjoy as your group lunch or dinner after the lesson is over.
All of our cooking classes are taught by a professional chef who will show you the culinary techniques to prepare a dish from the cuisine of your choice. We will coordinate the event logistics so your team can relax and enjoy making a mouth watering dish.
We do things a little differently than other cooking class companies. First, our cooking classes take place in a top of the line kitchen location. We’ve been creating team-building culinary experiences for 15 years so we know exactly how to create a memorable event. Your team will connect in a new way with a hands-on activity, bonding outside the ordinary office or video call setting. Come and eat with us! Your tastebuds will thank you later.

Meet Your Chef

“Food has always been at the heart of my life. Being of Cuban and Puerto Rican descent, some of my earliest memories are in the kitchen, watching my Mom cook dishes she learned from my grandparents Nereida and Ernesto Gonzales. My journey as a chef leads me to Northampton Community College where I earned an associate’s degree and a Certificate in Culinary Arts learning the fundamentals of French cuisine and the building blocks of professional cooking. I have worked in a variety of restaurants from fast casual to upscale dining, from my college dining hall to Buffalo Wild Wings, to Supervisor at Terrain Cafe. I also learned various cuisines working as sous chef at Mr. Lee’s Noodles at the Easton Public Market, and spending time cooking at Zest and Silver Shell. Growing tired of the restaurant lifestyle, I have shifted my focus to bringing restaurant-quality meals directly into peoples’ homes. Now, as a private chef, I get to combine my technical skills with a more personal approach offering in-home meal preparation, drop-off meal preparation, and intimate in-home dining experiences. Whether I’m making a Cuban dish or crafting something entirely different, nothing makes me happier than creating meals that bring people together. I look forward to cooking for you.” – Matt Rolon

CHOOSE BETWEEN A COOKING CLASS, COOKING COMPETITION, OR IRON CHEF-STYLE COMPETITION
We have two main types of cooking events: classes and competitions. In our cooking class, your group will learn how to make a delicious dish from the cuisine of your choosing. Our classes are both hands-on and informative. It’s a terrific choice if you want to strengthen the bonds of your team.
Our cooking competitions operate much like our cooking classes but with an exciting (but still chilled out) competitive twist. After the chef gives a quick overview lesson, you will be split up into teams that will compete to make an excellent dish in your cuisine of choice. Our chef will be the judge. You will be judged as a team on criteria provided by the chef (often including characteristics like presentation, taste, and timing). The winning team will receive a bonus tasting and bragging rights!

In our cooking class, your group will learn how to make the cuisine of your choice. Our classes are hands-on and interactive. It’s the perfect way to strengthen bonds with colleagues.
The class is designed to be fun and informative for both beginners and more advanced cooks. Our expert chefs are there to help you as much as you would like throughout the cooking process. We do the prep work in advance, so you can focus on the fun part, cooking and connecting with your people.
-
Upon arrival, you will be split up into teams that will compete to make the perfect dish in your cuisine of choice. Everyone will make their food but will collaborate as a team to help each other cook a scrumptious dish.
Our chef will be the judge. You will be judged as a team on presentation, taste, and timing. The winning team will receive a bonus tasting and bragging rights.
-
The Iron Chef-Style Cooking Competition is slightly different from the cooking class and cooking competition. Instead of choosing the cuisine you want to make in advance, you will be given a pantry full of ingredients and your team will decide on the spot what dish to prepare.
Our chef will act as judge and choose the winning team based on culinary criteria familiar from TV. The winning team will receive a bonus tasting. All the teams will enjoy eating the ‘fruits’ of their labor.
*Included in all cooking class options: Delicious foods served as a welcome snack, an expert chef with support staff, enough food for lunch/dinner, BYOB or provided beverages, loads of creativity, food and fun!
