Music City has great spots to hang out and listen to the best of the best artists, but there are also many things to do in Nashville that may get skipped because of people not knowing about them! We did all of the research for you and we’ve compiled a list of eight exciting things to do in Nashville.
1 – Take a Sidewalk Food Tour – We may be a little biased, but food tours are an excellent way to see a city! Sidewalk Food Tours offers two different food tours in Nashville. The Downtown Nashville Food Tour stops for some Nashville hot chicken, the best biscuits ever, Tennessee barbecue, and so much more! On the East Nashville Food Tour you’ll be eating where the locals do. Think hot dogs, the neighborhood pizzeria, and mouthwatering pulled pork. There’s so much more, but we can’t give all of our secrets away…
2 – Take a Cooking Class – If you’re interested in getting your hands dirty, it may be a great idea for your group to book a cooking class! It’s interactive, it’s always creative, and you learn something new to take home with you!
3 – Visit the Parthenon – You’re probably thinking… “Didn’t I click on a blog post for Nashville, Tennessee? I thought the Parthenon is a Greek monument?” You’re not wrong! But Nashville has their very own re-creation as the star of Centennial Park with a permanent collection of art inside. Admission can be purchased at the front desk. It’s also free to walk the exterior or you can rent e-bikes to bike the grounds.

Strolling through the botanical gardens is calming and touring through their Georgian-style mansion will wow you. This a major must around the holidays. Their holiday display is quite impressive and paired with hot chocolate at night makes for a wonderful group activity.
5 – Listen to Music While Eating at The Listening Room – The Listening Room is such a gem! We hesitate to share because we love that it’s a lesser known location to hear the best music in the city. Singer-songwriters perform here while you dine on American grub and sip craft cocktails.
6 – Hike at Radnor Lake State Park – This 1,368 preserved nature area is an awesome selection for groups looking for something outdoorsy to do in Nashville. Escape the crowds, get away from downtown and go for a nice walk on one of their many trails.
