For the absolute best virtual online team building, you needn’t look any further than Sidewalk’s Virtual Cooking Competition. Our professional chefs are renowned for engaging your team’s culinary skills and group dynamic. The perfect combination of online team building and your favorite cooking show, our Virtual Cooking Competition led by professional, world-renowned chefs will have your group asking for seconds!

How It Works

  • Your group will receive an ingredient/equipment list 1 week in advance.
  • We send you a Zoom link and at the time of your experience, your group logs on.
  • The fun begins! Our 1.5 hour, professionally-led class includes icebreakers, challenges, trivia, tips, and, of course, tons of cooking.
  • After all the teams finish their dishes, we’ll end with communal cheers, enjoy our creations and leave with a personalized recipe!

How The Competitive Twist Works

Upon entering the virtual room, your team will be split up into 2 separate teams, who will compete with each other to make the perfect dish. We can either keep the 2 teams in the same virtual room, or we can have them go into “break-out” rooms on the virtual platform. Whichever team has the team member who makes the “best” dish, wins the competition for their whole team. The winning team wins a prize at the end. Your professional chef and host will be the judge. Your chef will be watching closely for the person who has the best knife skills, food presentation, and food appearance. Best of luck!

A Barcelona-based hospitality professional and culture guide, Chef Atair’s passion is to share his local food culture with fellow travelers and explorers. For the last 3 years he has been hosting Food Experiences in Barcelona, and now that we are going through different times, he’s trying his best to feature this knowledge online.
